Each year Janet and her staff organise an activity for children to enjoy at the Jacaranda Festival.  In 2010, a bag-decorating activity was organised, where parents made gold-coin donations for their children to decorate an environmentally friendly cloth bag.  The funds raised went to supporting activities for local schools which Janet initaites throughout the year.
