To help raise awareness of cardiovascular disease in women, Janet helped to organise for all West Australian State women parliamentarians to show their support for the Heart Foundation's Go Red For Women Campaign.  Women Parliamentarians from both the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council wore red and posed for a special photograph at the ground floor of Parliament House in June 2010.
